Café Manager
An exciting position has become available to manage and grow The Runway Café, which is owned and operated by Juicy Isle and would be ideal for an experienced Café manager. The position is full-time, with the café operating from Monday to Friday, from 5am to 3pm.
This is a “hands on” role which would suit a passionate and energetic person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is an experienced cook, highly organised with excellent time management skills, able to work autonomously, and has the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
 Ability to drive sales and foster great customer relationships.
 Prepare and cook daily hot dishes.
 Experience with menu planning, food preparation and coffee making.
 Strong understanding of stock, cost and quality control.
 Responsible for stock filling, display and presentation standards and pricing.
 Possess the highest levels of professionalism and personal presentation.
 Must be able to complete early starts (5am).
 Previous café/hospitality management experience is essential.
 Organizing and distributing catering.
To be considered for this position, you will have the following:
 A current driver’s licence.
 Minimum 5 years Barista Experience.
 Strong attention to detail.
 Solid literacy and numeracy skills.
 Well organized.
 Undertake a pre-employment medical including a Drug and Alcohol test.
 Provide a National Police Check.
