Juicy Isle's new low gi Kids! Plus gives children a helping vitamin boost in cold and flu season.

NEW CATEGORY FOR CHILDREN'S PREMIUM JUICES

With colds and high profile flu strains dominating the headlines over the past few weeks, Australian owned manufacturer Juicy Isle has launched KIDS PLUS, a pulp free low GI premium orange juice specially formulated for children.

Opening a new category on supermarket shelves, KIDS PLUS will give parents extra assurance that their children are taking in all the right vitamins to help maintain a normal healthy immune system. Every serving of KIDS PLUS provides children with 200% of their Recommended Daily Intake (R.D.I.) of Vitamin C, known to assist the body in fighting the onset of colds and flu. In addition, one serving of KIDS PLUS contains 20% of children?s R.D.I. of Vitamin A, calcium to help build strong bones and 15% of R.D.I. of folic Acid. 

Importantly, Juicy Isle has reduced the amount of natural sugar in its KIDS PLUS juice which has a 90% juice content, making it lower in natural sugar than 100% juice. Michael Cooper, General Manager of Juicy Isle commented:

We had both parents and children in mind when developing this product. The texture is more palatable to littlies, but at the same time, we wanted parents to feel confident about giving this product to them. We are aware that many parents will water down 100% juices before feeding it to their children because of the amount of natural sugars found in them. By reducing the natural sugar in KIDS PLUS, we have formulated a low GI pulp free premium orange juice suitable for children with an additional vitamin boost for their immune systems. This is so important all year round, especially in these cold and flu seasons.     

Juicy Isle's KIDS PLUS is made in Australia from a blend of premium orange juice from local and imported ingredients. Found in the chiller cabinets in Woolworths nationwide, KIDS PLUS retails for $3.98 per 2 litre carton, with ten serves per carton.
